H.E Mohamed Hamad Al Mehairi is the Chief Executive Officer of Emirates Investment Authority. Previously H.E Al Mehairi was the Executive Director of Strategic Assets at EIA. He has held numerous positions in the financial and investment sector such as Executive Director - Financial Institutions at Mubadala, CEO at Aabar Investments and Director of Investments at IPIC. He has also served on Board of various regionally and Globally throughout his career.
Since our inception in 2007, the Emirates Investment Authority has taken great strides in becoming a truly dynamic investment platform for the UAE’s sovereign wealth fund.
The institution has invested significant capital over the last four years. Our collective focus now is to enhance and extract value from the combination of assets in our portfolio to maximise returns and consolidate our gains.
Through our Investment Leadership Program, we have engaged in actively training leaders out of promising young Nationals. This program is a highly sought after initiative for Emaratis seeking to build challenging, but rewarding careers in the investment field.
In addition, we build and strengthen our initiatives in the areas of strategic and tactical asset allocation, notwithstanding continued challenges in the global economy. We remain vigilant and continue to place a high premium on astute risk management. We endeavor to recommend and select investments to ensure we remain true to our mandate – to preserve and enhance the UAE’s sovereign wealth.
