H.H. Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan

H.H. Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan is the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs of the UAE.
As Chairman of the Board, H.H. Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan heads the Board of Directors which is responsible for overseeing the affairs of the Emirates Investment Authority.

H.E. Mohammad Abdulla Al Gergawi

His Excellency Mohammad Al Gergawi is the United Arab Emirates’ Minister of Cabinet Affairs and The Future and serves as Chairman of Dubai Government’s Executive Office.

He is a member of the High-Level Panel on Digital Cooperation, a panel of independent experts advising the United Nations Secretary-General on technological developments and technology related issues.

Al Gergawi also holds the position of Deputy Chairman of the UAE’s Ministerial Development Council, as well as Emirates Investment Authority, the UAE Federal Government’s sovereign wealth fund. In his capacity as Minister of Cabinet Affairs and The Future, Al Gergawi led the development of the UAE National Agenda and Future Foresight Strategy.

Al Gergawi is the Board Chairman of the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Authority (FCSA), the government body responsible for developing and enhancing the country’s performance in the areas of global competitiveness and statistics.

He also chairs the World Government Summit, a global platform focused on shaping the future of governments. As Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Dubai Future Foundation, he heads an entity tasked with implementing the Dubai Future Agenda. Al Gergawi is also the Co-chairman of the Global Future Councils, a forward-looking think tank in cooperation with the World Economic Forum.

Al Gergawi is the Secretary-General of the Mohammed bin Rashid Global Initiatives (MBRGI), a philanthropic foundation that combines under its umbrella over 30 humanitarian and developmental initiatives and entities.

H.E. Obaid Humaid Al Tayer

H.E. Obaid Humaid Al Tayer is Minister of State for Financial Affairs of the UAE. He has held senior positions at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as its Chairman from 2000 to 2008. H.E. Al Tayer is a highly regarded entrepreneur and businessman, and is Chairman of the reputed Al-Tayer Group of Companies, a diversified conglomerate with interests in automotive, contracting, distribution, publishing, retail, and services with operations in the GCC.

H.E. Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber

H.E. Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber is a member of the UAE Federal Cabinet, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and Group CEO of the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC).
In his role as Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Dr. Al Jaber oversees efforts to further expand the industrial development of the UAE, and in particular promote in country value, leveraging technology as a key enabler, as we enter the Fourth Industrial Age. The core mandate of the ministry is to increase industrial competitiveness and help drive economic growth by catalyzing the diversification of the UAE’s economy. The ministry will also enable better integration between industrial sectors, while embedding advanced technology at the center of the nation’s industrial base.
Since being appointed Group CEO of ADNOC in 2016, Dr. Al Jaber has spearheaded a rapid and comprehensive transformation of the company at the direction of the UAE leadership. Dr. Al Jaber has initiated a program of increased efficiencies, strengthened ADNOC’s overall performance and fostered a more commercial mindset.
He has guided ADNOC through a number of strategic firsts, including entering the global capital markets for the first time, completing the first ever IPO of an ADNOC business (ADNOC Distribution) and attracting significant FDI from strategic and private equity investors to stimulate smart growth across ADNOC’s upstream, midstream and downstream value chain. In driving ADNOC’s 2030 strategy toward a more profitable upstream, more valuable downstream and more sustainable and economic gas supply, Dr. Al Jaber has also led a digital transformation at the company. He has prioritized the adoption of breakthrough technologies including AI, Big Data and Blockchain to ensure ADNOC stays ahead of global energy demand and remains a key contributor
to the UAE’s economy.
Dr. Al Jaber was appointed to the UAE cabinet in 2013, where he served as a Minister of State of the United Arab Emirates until July 2020. Combining extensive experience in both the public and private sector, he was responsible for overseeing, developing and enhancing strategic geopolitical, social and economic partnerships with several nations. He was also the focal point for a number of comprehensive strategic partnerships with a number of countries.
Prior to taking on the leadership position at ADNOC, Dr. Al Jaber was the Chief Executive Officer of the Energy platform at Mubadala, the Abu Dhabi government’s strategic investment arm. In 2006, while at Mubadala, at the direction of the UAE leadership, he helped establish Masdar, Abu Dhabi’s pioneering renewable energy initiative, and served seven years as its CEO, guiding its global contribution to clean technology and sustainable development. In 2009 he led Masdar’s efforts in the UAE’s successful bid to host the headquarters of the “International Renewable Energy Agency” (IRENA). Dr. Al Jaber continues to serve as Chairman of Masdar, guiding its strategic direction.
Dr. Al Jaber also holds several leadership roles and advisory positions and counsels on issues related to Energy, Economics, Strategic Communications & Sustainable Development. In July 2020, Dr Al Jaber was appointed Chairman of Emirates Development Bank, a key partner in providing financial services for the sustainable economic and social development of the UAE.
Dr. Al Jaber is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence, the World’s first graduate-level, research based AI University. He serves on the board of Emirates Global Aluminum-the fifth largest aluminum company in the world.
In addition, Dr. Al Jaber served as Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Ports Company from 2009-2019. Over this decade, AD Ports has become a thriving business, turning a profit two years ahead of the approved business plan. During his tenure, Dr. Al Jaber oversaw the completion of Khalifa Port, Abu Dhabi’s flagship, fastest growing deep water port as well as Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (KIZAD), Abu Dhabi’s first integrated trade, industrial and logistics free zone. Through strategic investments, AD Ports has grown to become a full service transportation hub, leveraging Abu Dhabi’s location at the nexus of three continents, and making significant
contributions to the UAE’s economy and diversification efforts.
Dr. Al Jaber served as Chairman of the UAE National Media Council from 2015 to 2020, where he led an organizational and governance restructure, while guiding the media sector’s development as a responsive and responsible contributor to news and knowledge sharing in the digital and social media age.
Dr. Al Jaber has previously served on the United Nations Secretary General’s High Level Group on Sustainable Energy for All. He has received various awards including the United Nations flagship award “Champion of the Earth” in 2012, given to outstanding visionaries and leaders in the fields of policy, science and entrepreneurship. In 2013 Dr. Al Jaber was appointed an honorary Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (CBE) by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. In 2019, Dr. Al Jaber received a lifetime achievement award from his Excellency the prime minister of India, Narendra Modi, for his contributions to energy security, building bridges
to emerging Asian economies and for reshaping traditional energy business models.

H.E. Hareb Masood AlDarmaki

H.E. Hareb Al Darmaki Joined the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority in June 1976 as Director, Bond & Equity Department. Reporting to H.H., the Managing Director, his current responsibilities as Advisor – Managing Director Office include portfolio management, asset allocation, strategic decisions and broad financial analysis.

H.E. Eissa Mohamed Al Suwaidi

H.E. Eissa Al Suwaidi holds the post of Chief Executive Officer at Abu Dhabi Investment Council, United Arab Emirates. He started his career at Abu Dhabi Investment Authority in the year 1982.
In addition, he serves as a member of the Board Directors in Emirates Investment Authority.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Northeastern University of Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A.

H.E. Mohamed Hadi AlHussaini

Mr. Mohamed Hadi Al Hussaini is the Chariman of Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Co. PSJC, and currently he sits on the board of Emirates NBD, Emirates Islamic Bank and Dubai Refreshments Company. He is also a board member of the Economic Zones World and Dubai Real Estate Corporation. And a Chairman at Emaar Malls PJSC and an Independent Director at Badwa Capital Ltd.He previously served on the board of The National General Insurance Company and Takaful House, both publicly listed insurance companies, and was appointed as the interim chairman of Dubai Bank after its takeover by Emirates NBD. He has also been Chairman of Emirates Financial Services.

Al Hussaini has widespread professional experience across the banking, finance, real estate and investment sectors. He is a UAE national, coming from a prominent family of businessmen primarily engaged in trading sector businesses.

Al Hussaini holds a Master’s degree in International Business from Webster University in Geneva, Switzerland.

H.E. Abdulla bin Touq Al Mari

H.E. Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri was appointed Minister of Economy of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) under the new government structure approved in July 2020.
Prior to his appointment, H.E. Al Marri held important positions in the government as a senior, top-ranking official. He was the Secretary General of the UAE Cabinet since 2017, during which he was instrumental in strengthening the interdependence between the federal and local governments. In this role, he also spearheaded many initiatives to get the pulse of the people and know their sentiments, as well as build the UAE’s long-lasting relations with international organizations such as the World Economic Forum.
H.E. is also the former Director General of the Executive Office of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. He was part of the high-profile team that was behind the launch of ‘Area 2071,’ the nucleus of the future envisioned in the UAE Centennial Plan 2071. Furthermore, the
UAE Minister of Economy, in his previous post, took part in the unveiling of the Hatta Economic Zone development project and the relaunching of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development.

In addition, he was the CEO of the Dubai Future Foundation, enabling him to play a vital role in the successful launch of Dubai 10X and other initiatives of national importance. The Dubai 10X initiative, in particular, aims to strengthen the emirate’s bid to become the city of the future.
H.E. Al Marri is a member of the Boards of Directors of different federal entities. His memberships allow him to actively support the development of priority sectors in the country such as the Golden Visa initiative, which seeks to attract talented individuals from across the world.
The UAE Minister of Economy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Sheffield in the UK. Also, he is a graduate of the UAE Government Leaders Program and Mohammed Bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development.

H.E. Kaltham Hamad Al Ghafli

H.E. Kaltham Al Ghafli is a Senior Investment Manager in the External Equities Department in ADIA. She is an integral part of the team responsible for selecting, building and managing a portfolio of funds and relationships in Europe, Middle East & Africa. H.E. Kaltham is a member of the External Equities Executive Committee and before that she was a member of their Investment Committee.

H.E. Kaltham joined ADIA in 2006 as a Senior Analyst and developed extensive experience of Far East and Asia Pacific markets within external equities. She became an Investment Manager in 2012.

H.E. Kaltham is a graduate of the American University in Dubai, specializing in Business Administration. She also has an MBA in International Finance and is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants, IMA.
